2012 Shanghai International Interior Design Festival (SIIDF) themed around "Design Leads Industry, Originality Creates Life" was staged from April 9 to 15, 2012. The grand communication event of 2012 SIIDF has been a large-scale event for international interior design sector. It has been successively held in Shanghai for 3 years since UNESCO named Shanghai as the Capital of Design. The third Design Festival aimed to shape an international communication platform at a new height and it drew intense attention from interior design circles worldwide.
As the media partner of 2012 SIIDF, Indesign media booth again showed up in a high-profile manner at W3 Hall of SIIDF. The booth was themed around "Design Brightens Life", where MATSU spared no effort in sponsoring modularized architecture system and furniture. MATSU products turned booth of Indesign into a place for relaxation of and communication between visitors there. People slowed down their paces and lingered here to get relaxed and ease themselves, feeling the true value endowed by design to life - not appreciation, but integration, where people were encouraged to merge into the space, enjoy design products and experience value of design.
In the booth of Indesign, light wall was used to create a space of inspiration and interpret the theme of "brighten", which successfully attracted attention from numerous visitors. MATSU-supplied Burkhardt Leitner constructiv clic is the major structural product that constitutes the whole space for "Design Brightens Life". The background arc-shaped wall built with Burkhardt Leitner constructiv clic products uses elegant and low-profile white translucent sheets. The whole structure is pliant yet very light-weighted, suitable for making exquisite and diversified show shelves. The foreground built with Burkhardt Leitner constructiv pila products ensures stability for complicated structure with its diagonal tie rods, holding frames and angle braces. The bar counter built with Burkhardt Leitner constructiv pon products combines both stability and flexibility by using magnetic connection aluminum pipes and connection parts. They can be installed without tools, thus accelerating speed and reducing costs. They are applicable for exhibition and storage shelves that bear moderate weight.
MATSU's Kusch+Co Hola seats are used in the rest area. They are cheerful master pieces designed by Jorge Pensi. This product series have won multiple prizes since its creation. The bright colors and smooth lines endow elegant Halo seats with great eye-luring glamour. These light-weighted, flexible and comfortable Hola seats are particularly suitable for such large-scale shows as 2012 SIIDF.
